Happy to announce that puppies are here. We had a little drama waiting for them to arrive. Mostly it was me! I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas night sleeping on the floor beside Ellie's whelping pool. I even rushed to check on her between opening presents. I was sure she was going to deliver any time. After another restless night I took Ellie to the vet on the 26th. That is when I felt like the expectant father rushing his wife to the hospital as I walked into my vet. Unfortunately there was a puppy blocking the exit so a c-section followed. Ellie and the puppies did great though.
I am so pleased with the look of this litter. These are really nice puppies. Ellie and Marshall seem to be a great match. I can't wait to see how the grow. Their spots have just started coming in and their eyes are starting to open. They make the cutest noises too.
Once again the fun begins! This time a little bittersweet for this is Ellie's last litter. She is a great mother and produces pretty babies.
